Merensky Landbou Akademie vier groot sukses nadat Jaydrian Moolman op 1 Februarie 2025 aan die Limpopo Closed Stroke Play Kampioenskappe by die Polokwane Country Club deelgeneem het.

In hierdie uiters mededingende toernooi het Jaydrian met ‘n indrukwekkende telling van 78 houe geslaag om die titel van Junior Kampioen van 2025 te verower. Sy toewyding en deursettingsvermoë op die gholfbaan het Merensky se naam weereens hoog gehou in sportkringe.

JAYDRIAN MOOLMAN CROWNED JUNIOR CHAMPION

Merensky Agricultural Academy is celebrating a major achievement after Jaydrian Moolman participated in the Limpopo Closed Stroke Play Championships at the Polokwane Country Club on 1 February 2025.

In this highly competitive tournament, Jaydrian impressed with a score of 78 strokes, earning him the title of Junior Champion of 2025. His dedication and perseverance on the golf course have once again brought pride to Merensky's sporting reputation.

MERENSKY GHOLFSPAN TRIOMFEER BY NOORDSTREEK INTERHOËR!

Merensky Landbou Akademie se gholfspan het op 17 Maart 2025 puik vertonings gelewer tydens die Noordstreek Interhoër gholftoernooi by die Louis Trichardt Gholfbaan. Die Plasies se spanne het uitstekende resultate behaal in verskeie afdelings.

A-Afdeling: Kampioene vir die Tweede Jaar

Die A-span van Merensky het hul oorheersing voortgesit deur vir die tweede agtereenvolgende jaar as Interhoër wenners gekroon te word. Hierdie merkwaardige span, bestaande uit Morné Huysamen, Jaydrian Moolman, George Steenkamp en Luka Heinlein, het met indrukwekkende spel hul teenstanders getroef.

B-Afdeling: Derdeplek vir Merensky

Die B-span het ook ‘n stewige vertoning gelewer en ‘n welverdiende derdeplek behaal. Henru Venter, Christo Venter, Leon de Lange en Xander Schoeman het almal bygedra tot hierdie uitstekende prestasie.

C-Afdeling: Nog ‘n Derdeplek vir die Plasies

Die C-span het gewys dat Merensky se gholftalent diep loop deur ook ‘n derdeplek in hul afdeling te verseker. Borman van der Westhuizen, Elrick Opperman, Justin Lessing en Zander Knoetze het ‘n besonderse spanpoging ingesit om hierdie prestasie te behaal.

Suid-Afrikaanse Verteenwoordiging

As Interhoër wenners sal Merensky Landbou Akademie nou, saam met die Suidstreek Interhoër wenner, Limpopo verteenwoordig by die SA Skole (Golf RSA) toernooi. Dit is ‘n ongelooflike eer en ‘n bewys van die hoë standaard wat Merensky se gholfspelers handhaaf.

MERENSKY GOLF TEAM TRIUMPHS AT NORTHERN REGION INTERHOËR!

Merensky Agricultural Academy's golf team delivered outstanding performances on 17 March 2025, during the Northern Region Inter-High Golf Tournament at the Louis Trichardt Golf Course. The Plasies' teams achieved excellent results in various divisions, proudly representing their school.

A-Division: Champions for the Second Year

Merensky's A-team continued their dominance by being crowned Inter-High winners for the second consecutive year. This remarkable team, consisting of Morné Huysamen, Jaydrian Moolman, George Steenkamp, and Luka Heinlein, outplayed their opponents with impressive skill.

B-Division: Third Place for Merensky

The B-team also delivered a solid performance, securing a well-deserved third place. Henru Venter, Christo Venter, Leon de Lange, and Xander Schoeman all contributed to this excellent achievement.

C-Division: Another Third Place for the Plasies

The C-team showcased the depth of Merensky's golfing talent by also securing a third place in their division. Borman van der Westhuizen, Elrick Opperman, Justin Lessing and Zander Knoetze put in a tremendous team effort to earn this accomplishment.

South African Representation

As Inter-High winners, Merensky Agricultural Academy will now represent Limpopo, alongside the Southern Region winner, at the SA Schools (Golf RSA) tournament. This is an incredible honour and a testament to the high standard maintained by Merensky's golfers.
